The desert near my house is magnificently in bloom! The saguaros are starting to blossom, the prickly pear are full display, and the cholla are competing with their bright and abundant blooms.
The above photo is that of prickly pear blossoms. I think cactus flowers of some of the most beautiful in the world!

Thank you Lorena! There are some Cholla cactus in bloom here right now that are fushia and they are sooo pretty! I should get out and take some pictures :)
